We want everyone to be able to use croo.io, whatever their abilities and whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Our target
We design and build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
What we do
- Every page template is checked automatically with axe-core against the WCAG A and AA rules, on a desktop screen and on a phone, whenever the site changes.
- The navigation, the region and language selector, the cookie banner and the contact form are tested with the keyboard alone, and keyboard focus is always visible.
- Text and background colours are chosen to reach the AA contrast ratios.
- The site follows the reduced motion setting of your device: animations stop and content appears in its final state. Every video that plays by itself can be paused.
- Pages fit a screen 320 pixels wide without scrolling sideways, and the language of each page, and of words quoted in another language, is declared for screen readers.
Limits we know of
- The site has not yet been evaluated by an independent accessibility expert. Until it is, we do not claim that it fully meets WCAG 2.2 AA.
- The anti-spam check of the contact form is provided by Cloudflare (Turnstile), and its accessibility depends on Cloudflare. If it stops you, write to us at hello@croo.io instead.
- Some images and videos are provisional and will be replaced.
Tell us about a barrier
If you meet a barrier on the site, write to hello@croo.io with the address of the page and a description of the problem. We will reply and, where we can, send you the information in another format.
